IFIMES – International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies invites you kindly to take part at the PRESS CONFERENCE which will be held on Wednesday, 16 April 2008 at 11.30 h
in the Auditorium of Center Evropa, Dalmatinova 4, Ljubljana.
President of the Council of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) Dr. Robert J. Donia will be visiting Slovenia from 14 to 20 April 2008. During his visit Dr. Donia will lecture at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana as the guest professor and he will also meet some distinguished representatives from the Slovenian public life.
At the press conference Dr. Donia will among other talk about Kosovo and the West Balkans after this former Serbia's province declared its independence on 17 February 2008 as well as about Slovenia's EU presidency and its role in the West Balkans. As a long-standing expert consultant to the Hague Tribunal he will also speak about the role of this institution and the topical issue of the location and accessibility of the Tribunal's archives.
The press conference will be held in the English language.
