which will be held on Monday, 18 May 2015, at 16.00 h
in the “Grad” hall of Hotel Lev (13th floor) at Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.
Budimir Lončar (92) was President of the Foreign Policy and International Relations Committee of the President of the RepublicofCroatiaDr. Ivo Josipović and Special Advisor to the President of the Republic of Croatia Mr. Stjepan Mesic (2004-2010). In his lecture he will talk about current challenges that are present in modern international relations.
Budimir Lončar was the last Foreign Minister of SFRY - Socialist Federative Republic of Yugoslavia (1987-1991). He served among other as Special Envoy of UN Secretary General for the Nonalignment Movement and Ambassador of SFRY to Washington, Bonn and Jakarta.He was also Vice-President of the World Council of Former Foreign Ministers and Chair of the Diplomatic Council of Dag Hammarskjöld University College for International Relations and Diplomacy.
The lecture will be delivered in the Croatian language and will be followed by a discussion moderated by Zijad Bećirović.
