Prime Minister of Serbia Vučić meets IFIMES directors
LJUBLJANA/BELGRADE, 27 March 2015 – Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić met with directors of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) Bakhatyar Aljaf, and Zijad Bećirović.
Prime Minister Vučić emphasized the importance of economic development of Serbia, and the importance of political and economic cooperation in the region. He presented some of the key projects of the Serbian government, at the same time outlining opportunities for common activities of regional business in foreign markets.
IFIMES directors Aljaf in Bećirović stated that economic recuperation of Serbia is of paramount importance, and emphasized the fact that if Serbia has the political will for pursuing political and economic advancement that will have a beneficial effect on the region as a whole. They recognized that Prime Minister Vučić has the necessary political will for such a project, and stated their support for accelerating economic growth in Serbia, and all of his endeavours for stability, peace, and prosperity in the region.
