LECTURE AND DISCUSSION WITH DR. STANE VLAJ
entitled
“DILEMMAS OF REGIONALISATION IN SLOVENIA”
which will take place on Thursday 24 September 2009 at 16.00 h in the auditorium of Center Evropa at Dalmatinova 4 in Ljubljana.
Dr. Stane Vlaj, a former longstanding professor at the Faculty of Public Administration of the University of Ljubljana, Director of the Institute of Local Self-Government and member of the IFIMES International Institute, will deliver a lecture on the current questions and dilemmas related to the introductions of regions in Slovenia. He will also present an expert view of the proposals of Slovenia's previous and present governments and explain what kind of regional structure would be appropriate for Slovenia
The lecture will be given in the Slovenian language. It will be followed by a discussion with Dr. Vlaj
which will be moderated by Zijad Bećirović.
