LJUBLJANA, 15 July 2010 – On July 11, 2010, Governor of Erbil, the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan Nawzad Hadi received the director of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) Bakhatyar Aljaf who was accompanied by the managers of SENK Group Abdul Gardi and Rebaz Zedbagi.
Governor Hadi presented Erbil as the capital of Iraqi Kurdistan which has actually become the "second Dubai" and the driving force of renovation of the Kurdistan region as well as Iraq as a whole.
Director Aljaf commended Governor Hadi for his activities, since during his term of office Erbil gained a role comparable to that of Munich and Bavaria in the renovation of post-war Germany.
Director Aljaf invited Governor Hadi to visit Slovenia and the IFIMES International Institute and proposed that the visit could also include Zagreb and the Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Governor Hadi expressed his satisfaction that IFIMES is going to organise the visit of an economic delegation from Slovenia and Croatia at the "Building and Construction" international fair which is to take place in Erbil in end-September this year.
