LJUBLJANA, 14 September 2012 - Director of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) from Ljubljana Zijad Bećirović today received the Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh Mosud Mannan.
During the lengthy conversation they exchanged views of the current events in Bangladesh and the region. IFIMES Director presented the Institute's activities and its new projects in the Balkans and the Middle East.
At the proposal presented by Ambassador Mannan the IFIMES International Institute will establish co-operation with the Bangladesh Institute of International and Strategic Studies.
At the end of the visit IFIMES Director invited Ambassador Mannan to be a guest lecturer at the Institute. Ambassador Mannan accepted the invitation with pleasure.
