PRESS RELEASE
IFIMES Director becomes the “Knowledge Ambassador”
LJUBLJANA, March 26, 2014 – For the first time in Slovenia and in Europe, Life Learning Academia has presented honourable titles “Knowledge Ambassador” to renowned and eminent experts. The laureates have been entrusted with the mission to identify those young people who have shown special talent through their work, ideas or participation in interesting and good projects.
According to Life Learning Academia the titles are not focused on diplomats but on well-known and successful personalities. Knowledge Ambassadors will present special awards called “Reference” to outstanding young people in order to provide them with better employment opportunities. Life Learning Academia also stressed that in selecting Knowledge Ambassadors they wanted to find well-known and distinguished personalities who possess the knowledge and experiences, are well-known in their environment, have been active in large organisations or wider communities and are as such well-respected among young people.
Director of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) Zijad Bećirović, M.Sc., has also joined this elite group of Knowledge Ambassadors.
The award ceremony will be followed by the reception in the honour of the laureates.
