Chinese Chargé d'affaires visited IFIMES
LJUBLJANA, 20 June 2013 - The Directors of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) in Ljubljana Bakhtyar Aljaf and Zijad Bećirović today received the Chargé d'affaires of the People's Republic of China Zhou Qiana.
In a long conversation they exchanged views on the current situation in Slovenia, the Middle East and the Balkans, with particular emphasis on the imminent accession of Croatia to the European Union and Chinese investment in the Western Balkans.
Directors presented the work of the institute and projects in this year, conducted by the Institute in the Middle East and the Balkans, and they thanked Chargé d'affaires Zhou Qianu on existing successful cooperation.
