LJUBLJANA, October 29, 2014 - At the 3rd Regional Business Conference Business Club "Business plus" (Biznis plus), in Sarajevo on October 29, 2014 the Director of the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES) Bakhatyar Aljaf led a panel discussion on the topic of "business opportunities in the Middle East, despite local instability."

Also cooperating on the panel were:

• Ekrem Deniz, Turkey, expert on local politics and business, and founder of the Institute of East & West Studies
• Jalal Al Fahad, Kuwait, owner and CEO of Al Jalal Khalijeea
• Rebaz Zedbagi, Iraq, owner and CEO of Zednas Petroleum Industry Holding &

• Reyadh Yusuf al-Maliki, Bahrain, President of the Centre Bosnia and Herzegovina in Bahrain

The speakers pointed out that there are many untapped opportunities for the participation of regional business with companies from the Middle East. They agreed that friendly relations need to grow into true business relations, because that is the only way to develop a successful business cooperation and prepare new projects for the development of the economy in the region.
