Josip Juratovic,
Member of Parliament of the Federal republic of Germany (Bundestag) and president of the parliamentary group for the South Eastern Europe in the Bundestag
entitled
Josip Juratovic (SPD) is a member of the German Bundestag (Deutscher Bundestag) since 2005. He is a president of the parliamentary group for the South Eastern Europe in the Bundestag. He was one of the most recognizable trade unionists in southern Germany. Since 2014, he is the Commissioner for integration within the SPD parliamentary group. He is a member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs in the Bundestag. Juratovic is the vice president of the parliamentary group Germany-North Adriatic (Slovenia and Croatia). He was born in 1959 in Koprivnica, Croatia.
In his lecture, deputy Juratovic will present his views on some key issues of German foreign policy and his perception of the challenges related to the Western Balkan countries and their Euro-Atlantic integration process.
The lecture will be delivered in the Croatian language and will be followed by a discussion with the guest lecturer, which will be moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
